Has 3+ years’ experience in PR, ideally agency-side, with clear progression into a strategic or senior role. Can demonstrate consistent delivery against KPIs across multiple client accounts, using a mix of creative campaigns, newsjacking, thought leadership and product-led PR. Is confident owning senior client relationships, leading strategy discussions, presenting recommendations, and building long-term partnerships across clients in different sectors. Has experience leading client meetings and quarterly reviews, and is comfortable acting as the strategic voice on calls rather than executing day-to-day tasks. Has a proven track record of developing standout campaign ideas and guiding teams to execute them to a high standard, driving strong commercial and coverage outcomes. Understands how Digital PR contributes to SEO growth and how a PR strategy aligns with wider SEO objectives. Has a strong understanding of how Digital PR supports visibility in AI-powered search and LLMs, and can factor this into campaign planning and performance discussions. Has experience using a variety of SEO and PR tools to evaluate outreach opportunities and assess impact. Is able to manage priorities across multiple accounts while supporting others with planning, timelines, and delivery. Has experience in line managing team members, providing feedback, coaching, and support to help them develop and perform at their best. Communicates confidently and clearly, with strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to adapt messaging for clients, team members, and senior stakeholders. Is ambitious, proactive and commercially minded, with a desire to raise standards, improve client outcomes, and contribute to the wider success and reputation of the agency.
The key responsibilities and tasks of the role are:
- You will lead several client relationships, acting as the strategic voice and main contact on calls and meetings. While not responsible for daily tasks, you’ll support account managers with strategic input and help steer overall client strategy. Where needed, you will escalate concerns to the Client Strategy Lead.
- Client Management: Lead on 1-2 clients within the team. You will be responsible for end-to-end campaign management, from strategic planning and creative ideation to media outreach and reporting. You will manage client expectations, build strong relationships and ensure strategies are delivered to a high standard. You will lead by example, managing your client portfolio with professionalism, enthusiasm, and ensuring timely communication to increase client satisfaction and retention.
- Monitoring Client Results: Monitoring performance is a key aspect of this role. You’ll work closely with Strategists to track results and optimise strategies with final sign-off, to ensure everything meets our clients’ objectives and quality expectations. You’ll also play a key role in quarterly client strategy meetings, helping shape direction and providing updates on relevant industry trends and agency developments.
- People Management: You will conduct regular one-to-one meetings with your direct reports, offering constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth and support. You’ll lead performance reviews, oversee progression planning, and ensure all development is documented clearly and consistently. A key part of your role will be spotting opportunities for upskilling and flagging when additional training or support is needed. Work closely with your direct reports, reviewing their work to ensure high standards and providing coaching to develop their skills and confidence.
- Ideation and Creativity: You will lead by example in developing impactful, original campaign ideas. You will support Strategists in developing creative concepts for their accounts and contribute directly to ideation, helping bring ideas to life.
- Training and Progression: Engage in internal training and knowledge sharing to develop your own skills and support the growth of others through sharing insights and best practices.
- Agency Representation: Shouting about our wins on social and celebrating our successes as an agency. Spotting opportunities for your clients to write a case study for the Digitaloft website.
What we’ll offer you:
- Salary of £33,000-£42,000 per year, depending on experience and level of responsibility.
- 28 days’ holiday, increasing by 1 additional day per year of service, up to a maximum of 33 days, plus bank holidays.
- £1,000 annual training budget to attend conferences, workshops, or invest in skill development aligned with your role and progression.
- Agency-wide wellbeing support, including a wellness programme, private health cash plan, and access to trained mental health first aiders.
- Active encouragement to speak at industry events and contribute thought leadership to leading publications.
- Opportunities to represent the agency at UK and international awards events.
- Flexible working by default, including remote, office-based, hybrid, and work-from-anywhere options.
- Regular full-company get-togethers that bring the whole team together to connect, celebrate wins, and share updates.
