James Brennan Associates is looking for graduates to join the team based in beautiful Bakewell, Derbyshire. We specialise in high quality surveys for a wide range of clients working on historic buildings and exclusive residences throughout the UK. If you join us, you will be working on some of the finest, unusual and most interesting historic buildings in the country. From great public buildings, tranquil country mansions, exclusive town and country houses to unique monuments this job provides the opportunity to work on them all.
The team environment is friendly and collaborative; we offer a competitive salary and the prospect of flexible working for the right candidate. This is not the average surveying job. We survey, measure & monitor to produce high quality plans, sections, elevations, Sketchup, 3D Revit Models, Augmented Reality visualisation Models and Building Information Models (BIM). We work throughout the UK, utilising the latest 3D laser scanning technology, backed up by a wealth of survey expertise and experience.
This is an exciting role that will provide involvement and experience in a wide range of surveying skills, with a specific focus of providing high quality survey products for the historic environment. We are looking for motivated individuals with a related degree in Archaeology, Architecture, Design, Engineering or similar subjects.
The role involves travel and occasional overnight stays around the UK, thus a full drivers license is essential. As a Graduate Land Surveyor you will support and assist in the delivery of high-quality surveying services; both out on site and in the office. You will learn how to use some of the most up to date surveying equipment and software. You will learn how to use CAD to transform survey data into finished drawings.
