Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to manage and deliver key transport and infrastructure projects across the region.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will deliver infrastructure projects from concept to completion. This position provides an excellent opportunity to utilise your strong project management and collaboration skills while supporting transport, infrastructure, and capital delivery projects.
- Manage infrastructure projects from concept to physical delivery and post-opening evaluation, including strategic and capital projects.
- Monitor and report on projects funded by our client but delivered by other parties.
- Build collaborative partnerships with the supply chain and local authority partners.
- Support review and evaluation of projects with the Head of PMO and Head of Grant Assurance.
- Control project change, risks and contingency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Report on project progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the production of business cases for project funding.
- Present complex engineering schemes clearly in plain English to various stakeholders.
Significant project management experience and understanding of what makes projects successful.
Knowledge of UK engineering design and construction projects.
Experience in transport, planning, housing or infrastructure delivery sectors.
Commercial awareness.
Day rate: £400 (4 days per week, 30hrs) Bristol - 1 - 2 days on site.
