Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (L2/L3) to join their team on a contract basis. This role requires expertise in network infrastructure and system maintenance.
Role Overview: This position will support and maintain our client's IT infrastructure, focusing on network operations and system administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches and wireless access points
- Manage firewall implementations and security protocols
- Support VMware virtualisation environments
- Assist with SharePoint administration and troubleshooting
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for infrastructure issues
- Document network configurations and changes
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with routing and switching technologies
- Strong knowledge of WiFi network implementation and maintenance
- Experience configuring and managing firewalls
- Familiarity with Juniper network equipment
- SharePoint administration skills
- VMware virtualisation experience
- Solid troubleshooting abilities
- Driving License required - travel to multiple locations expected
Contract Details:
- Duration: 1-month rolling contract
