A well-established Housing Association is seeking a Business Analyst to support digital transformation and process improvement across housing operations. This role offers the opportunity to improve services, streamline ways of working, and enhance resident outcomes through better systems, data, and business processes.
The Role
You’ll work closely with housing services, operational teams, and IT to understand current processes, identify inefficiencies, and design improved solutions. You will play a key role in translating business needs into system and process changes that deliver tangible improvements for residents and staff. This role is ideal for a Business Analyst with strong housing knowledge and a passion for continuous improvement and change.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and improve end-to-end housing processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and service delivery
- Gather, document, and manage business requirements for system and process change
- Support the implementation and optimisation of housing management systems (e.g. NEC, MRI, Capita or similar)
- Translate requirements into user stories, process maps, and functional specifications
- Facilitate workshops and support UAT to ensure solutions deliver agreed outcomes
- Use data and insights to measure performance and support continuous improvement
- Work with IT teams and suppliers to align system configuration with improved processes
- Support change management, adoption, and compliance with housing regulations and GDPR
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within housing, social housing, or local government
- Strong knowledge of housing operations and housing management systems
- Proven experience delivering process improvement and digital change initiatives
- Excellent requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement skills
