The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are proud to be partnering with a Local Authority in Hertfordshire, who are looking to appoint an Independent Living Services Manager on a 6 month temporary contract. This will be a full-time position lasting 6 months.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing within a council or local authority, a full UK drivers’ licence and access to a vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing the running of four independent living schemes within the council
  • Managing a team of three team leaders and 10 Scheme Managers
  • Act as strategic lead to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service

Experience required:

  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience working with a housing association or council

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Great organisational skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of housing legislation

Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
