Our client, a university based in London, is currently recruiting for a Data Protection Officer on an initial 2-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The day rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. The role is coming in to cover an absence in the team, with the potential of further extensions after the initial two months.

Role Summary:

  • No Line Management, looking for someone with higher education experience to come in and be able to confidentially and accurately advise the team and internal stakeholders of relevant regulation.
  • Ideally looking for once a week on-site in their modern London office (potentially some flexibility here).
  • Being the main point of contact for all Data Protection and Information Governance regulation queries that come in.
  • Dealing with your own complex cases from Officers in the team.

  • 37 hours per week.
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
