Our client, based in Lincolnshire, is currently recruiting for a fully remote Contract Lawyer on a 3-month rolling temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is circa. £50-55 via an umbrella company based on experience for this position.
Duties
- Report into the Senior Lawyer, whilst helping and training more junior members of staff
- Lead team meetings, ensuring team work as well as individual work is carried out successfully
- Manage legal risk, including advising on challenges, judicial review and enforcement issues relating to subsidy control
- Draft, review, and advise on legal documentation relating to subsidies, including funding agreements, grant conditions, and clawback provisions
Skills and Experience
- 5 years' PQE
- Experience in subsidy control and procurement advice
- Contracts experience within the local government setting
Working Hours
- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
