The predicted salary is between 19.8 - 24.2 £ per hour.

Our client, based in Leicester, is currently recruiting for an Information Governance Officer on a 3-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Dealing with sensitive information and high-profile matters, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Overseeing the completion of FOI Requests, SARs, and EIRs, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines
  • Coordinate and support the handling of personal data breaches, including logging, information gathering, and progressing actions
  • Handling complaints relating to information governance, applying relevant exemptions and coordinating cross-departmental responses

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Local Government
  • Experience dealing with FOI, SARs and EIRs
