Our client, based in Northampton, is currently recruiting for a Governance Officer on a 10-month FTC. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The annual salary is 36,000. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the public sector and know the governance frameworks. Duties will include (but are not limited to): * Coordinate updates to statutory registers and filings with Companies House under the direction of the Head of Regulation and Governance * Prepare agendas, collate reports, and issue papers in liaison with senior officers and under direction of the Head of Regulation and Governance * Maintain accurate governance records, including registers of Board and Committee membership, terms of office, declarations of interest, and attendance logs * Support the effective operation of the business’s governance framework, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and sector good practice Skills & Experience required: * Experience required in the public sector * The candidate must have strong admin skills and board support * Experience working independently on required tasks Rewards and Benefits: * Hybrid working * Flexible working days Working hours: * 37 hours per week * Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
