Our client, based nationwide, is currently recruiting for a Governance Officer on a 6-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

Job Overview

  • Taking a lead role in ensuring the provision of a professional and outstanding secretarial and administrative service to support the activities of Boards for which the Housing Association provides a service and for the Group\’s Executive Group meetings
  • Delivering effective arrangements for ensuring forward planning, preparing agendas and board packs, minute taking and action tracking
  • Supporting the Head of Governance as directed in serviced company administration – statutory and regulatory filings and maintaining corporate records
  • Supporting the process for self-assessment of compliance with regulatory standards and adopted codes and specifically committee appraisals and effectiveness reviews
