The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Essex, who are looking to appoint a Housing Officer on a 3-month temporary to permanent contract. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Housing Officer role and a full UK Driver’s License with access to a vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering face-to-face tenancy management and support customers throughout their tenancy lifecycle of a patch of roughly 800 properties
  • Conducting property inspections, tenancy audits, and estate visits to ensure standards are met and address issues
  • Managing tenancy changes and enforcement, including legal action for breaches and dealing with complex enquiries
  • Promote community engagement and safety, resolving nuisance behaviour and building strong local relationships
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent customer service and tenancy sustainment
  • Maintaining accurate records and stay informed on relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

Experience required:

  • Tenancy and neighbourhood management
  • Delivering a front-line service in a related field

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Customer focussed
  • Good communication

Working hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
