We are currently working in partnership with a Social Housing provider based in Bristol, who are looking for an Electrical Programme Manager on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position out of Bristol, with visits to other offices and sites required. The salary for the role is £56,100 per annum with a January start date. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for driving quality, compliance, and performance, including the rollout of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging installations in line with the organisation's infrastructure strategy.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Leading the delivery of electrical testing, inspection, and planned improvement programmes
- Overseeing the rollout of EV charging installations in line with strategic objectives
- Acting as the organisation's Senior Qualifying Supervisor under the NICEIC registration
- Taking ownership of quality assurance, compliance, and adherence to regulatory standards across both domestic and commercial dwellings
- Managing and coordinating internal teams and external contractors to ensure effective delivery of workstreams
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant legislation, standards, and best practice
Experience required:
- Proven experience overseeing both internal and external contractors
- Strong programme and workstream management capability
- Demonstrable experience delivering electrical works within domestic and commercial environments
Qualifications & Knowledge:
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds electrical qualification to the latest edition of BS7671 (Wiring Regulations) or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent technical certificate) in Electrical Engineering
- Hold the qualifications required to register as a Qualifying Supervisor with NICEIC
- Familiarity with the IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Installations
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Times
