We are currently partnering with a not for profit organisation in North London, who are recruiting for a People Business Partner to join their growing team on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months. This is a full-time position paying up to Β£52,000 (subject to experience), with a view to starting ASAP.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing solution-focused advice on complex employee relations issues, partnering with managers to ensure cases are managed in compliance with policies, tracking all cases to ensure legal compliance.
  • Collaborating with leaders to define people goals, applying KPIs to prioritise work and monitor progress in core business areas, and contributing to discussions on organisational design, succession planning, and workforce planning.
  • Leading the development and execution of recruitment campaigns for staff and volunteer roles, providing specialist advice on attraction methods and managing recruitment processes within budget constraints.
  • Conducting organisational people projects to address workplace environment and employee engagement issues, ensuring People policies are up-to-date and reflect best practices.
  • Partnering with leaders to enhance people management practices, driving employee engagement, high performance, and providing coaching and development plans to aid succession planning.
  • Using data from People information systems to monitor and analyse people issues, identifying interventions to drive decision making and action to improve organisational performance.
  • Communicating the People vision effectively to drive change initiatives, ensuring KPIs are understood and applied to influence organisational culture and behaviours, with a focus on inclusive leadership.
  • Working with People Services and Learning & Development teams to ensure smooth pre-employment screening, contract administration, and joint problem solving to improve integrated people solutions.

Experience required:

  • Experience working within not-for-profit or NHS would be great (but not essential).
  • Ability to manage a caseload of ER cases from start to finish is essential.

Working hours/home working: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5:30 pm, two days per week working from home.
