The predicted salary is between 43000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
We are currently working in partnership with a Social Housing Provider, who are recruiting for a permanent Planned Works Surveyor in the Gloucestershire area. This is a permanent position, with the salary for the role being Β£43,248, with a Β£26.00 per month working from home allowance.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing contracts circa Β£1m, adhering to the Decent Homes Standard and delivering on timeframes/budgets. Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting the planned maintenance and investment programme by managing large-scale contracts to deliver high-quality improvements across the housing stock.
- Ensuring all assets are maintained and improved in line with agreed standards and comply with regulatory requirements, including Decent Homes standards.
- Overseeing the delivery of multi-year projects and contracts, managing budgets, coordinating contractors, and administering contracts to ensure services meet agreed performance levels and deliver value for money.
- Acting as a technical expert on all property-related matters, providing advice and guidance on investment decisions and building standards.
- Providing specialist support to management teams on capital works, ensuring projects align with strategic objectives and customer satisfaction targets.
Experience/Qualifications required:
- RICS/or equivalent membership.
- HNC or equivalent qualifications.
Working hours: 35 hours per week 08:30 - 16:00 Monday - Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Times.
