The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
We are currently working in partnership with an established multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, who are looking to appoint an Employers Agent on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time position based in Birmingham, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of up to £60,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have seven years post qualification experience, across high-rise recladding/refurbishment, new build developments and elemental maintenance and improvement work.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Undertaking preconstruction activities, such as preparation of tender documents/specifications/pricing schedules and construction stage activities such as site inspections to check on progress.
- Liaising with and supervising contractors and client project officers.
- Assisting with payment valuations, organising and managing site level meetings.
- Overseeing quality control of contractor workmanship, health & safety compliance (CDM regulations).
- Acting on behalf of clients including handover inspections and preparing site reports.
Experience required:
- MRICS/MCIOB qualified desirable but not essential.
- Extensive contract administration experience.
- Proven site experience & providing similar services in your current role.
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Confident communicator & experienced in client facing roles.
- A ‘self-starter’ able to be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy & self-motivation.
