The predicted salary is between 22 - 28 £ per hour.
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, who are recruiting for a Community Safety Officer on a temporary three-month contract. The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £28.00 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have a basic DBS certificate, or be happy to have one carried out, drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience in roles dealing with ASB issues.
Duties:- Resolving incidents of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches
- Dealing with customers who may be in crisis, experiencing high levels of stress or suffering from mental ill health
- Working with police and local authorities to resolve ASB
- Knowledge of housing/tenancy legislation
- Excellent recording keeping skills and accurate data entry
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and external agencies
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Confident handling of difficult conversations, including complaints and enforcement discussions
- Strong understanding of safeguarding adults and children
- Ability to assess risk and prioritise cases effectively
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:45am – 5:00pm. Home and patch based with the requirement to work in the office one day per week.
