Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a permanent contract. The position is due to start ASAP and the salary is £41,000. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as a Housing Officer, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years and also have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing a patch of around 500 properties
  • Handling low level ASB
  • Carrying out tenancy visits, tenancy audits, and estate inspections
  • Serving NOSPs and NTQs
  • Representing the council in court

Experience required:

  • 5 years experience as a Housing Officer
  • Experience in court attendance and representation

Rewards and Benefits:

  • 2 days a week working from home
  • 55p mileage rate

Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
