Our client, based in Kensington, is currently recruiting for a HR Officer who specialises in employee relations as well as being able to hit the ground running on project work. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. It is also offering 4 days a week working from home.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting managers on a broad range of employee relations matters including sickness absence, conduct, capability, grievance and workplace conflict cases
  • Advising managers on HR policies, procedures and terms and conditions of employment, ensuring consistent and compliant people management practices
  • Managing fixed-term contract processes, coordinating extensions, and producing associated employment documentation
  • Providing guidance on family-friendly leave, flexible working requests, job evaluation outcomes and contractual changes
  • Coordinating organisational change activity including restructures, redeployment processes and consultation administration
  • Delivering HR projects and collaborating with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement and best practice across people services

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Higher Education or the public sector as a minimum
  • Experience triaging ER Cases
  • Experience in job evaluations

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm or 9:30am-5:30pm.
