We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in North Wales, who are recruiting for a Senior Elections Officer to join their growing team on a fully remote basis.
This is a full-time position with a negotiable hourly rate (dependent on experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with planning and management of the delivery of elections, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines and legal requirements
- Overseeing the maintenance of the Electoral Register, including the annual canvass and voter registration initiatives
- Coordinating logistics and resources for polling stations, postal voting, ballot printing, and count venues
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate records and liaising with the Electoral Commission and other bodies
