Senior Clerk of Works

We are currently working in partnership with one of Building Magazines Top 100 consultancy firms, who are recruiting for a Senior Clerk of Works on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start on notice & can be based out of their London or Kent office.

The salary is up to £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience for the role.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience across the residential sector including New Build, Cladding Remediation.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Leading and managing cladding remediation projects from initial brief through design, procurement, construction, and handover
• Ensuring that the quality of both materials and workmanship is in accordance with the design information such as specification, drawings and quality standards
• Confirming that the inspections are performed in a manner that confirms the reported results
• Studying the contract drawings and schedules, and information produced by consultants and specialists
• Establishing lines of communication with the project Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, architect, the contractor’s site supervisory or project manager
• Studying the Health and Safety Plan for the project, British Standards and Approved Codes of Conduct
