We are currently partnering with a South-West based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team on a three-month contract.
The role is working within the Housing Association’s complex repairs team, focusing on contractor management and working closely with a team of surveyors.
This is a full-time position with paying circa £33 per hour on an Umbrella basis, and they’re looking to start someone ASAP, subject to notice periods.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Leading a team of surveyors to deliver complex repairs on domestic dwellings
- Managing complex repairs and ensuring customer satisfaction for all works
- Developing formal specifications of work
- Completing pre and post inspections on domestic dwellings, identifying defects and finding faults
- Ensuring contracts are falling In line with pre-agreed SLAs, and liaise with contractors where works need amending
- Ensuring health and safety across all projects
Experience and knowledge required:
- Recent Social Housing experience
- Access to own vehicle
- A basic DBS
