We are proud to be partnering with a Public Sector organisation based in Swindon who are looking to appoint a SEND Finance & Personal Budgets Officer on a three month temporary contract.
This is a part time role (22.5 hours per week across three days) with Wednesdays in the office and the remaining two days from home. The hourly rate for this position is c.£29 via an Umbrella Company.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Holding responsibility for all aspects of Home to School Travel finance including authorisation of payments within a clear framework
- Contributing to the on-going review and development of financial and other processes in consultation with stakeholders
- Providing effective and relevant financial and commissioning support to the Strategic Commissioner SEND including the Joint Strategic Needs Analysis for SEND
- Coordinating the planning for home to school travel maintain an overview of travel routes so that it informs commissioning decisions
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Background in a similar role is desirable
- Understanding of SEND finance and budgets
Working hours:
- 22.5 hours per week
- Wednesdays from the office
- Flexible pattern for the remaining two days which can be worked from home
