We are currently partnering with a leading supported housing organisation, based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Responsive Repairs Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client is proud to be recognised as a care provider for elderly residents in supported housing.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £43,651.61 per annum (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out responsive repairs surveys on domestic properties and care homes, ensuring working is compliant with HHSRS
- Investigating serious damp and mould defects, identify sources and specify remedial works
- Communicating with residents to provide updates on ongoing works
- Dealing with customer complaints and escape these as required
- Working alongside in house repairs operatives and post inspected their work
- Ensuring works and response times and compliant with Awaab's Law
Experience required
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience in damp and mould surveying
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- HNC/HND in Building Surveying
- Knowledge of damp, mould and property defects
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 08:30am-16:30pm
