The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 £ per year.
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Cornwall, who are recruiting for a Repairs Manager on a three-month rolling contract.
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The daily rate of pay is negotiable up to £375 a day via an Umbrella Company.
- The ideal candidate will have worked within a Social Housing setting delivering a Responsive Repairs service in adherence with budgets and timeframes.
- Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing expert guidance to the entirety of the maintenance department on responsive repairs, and damp, mould & condensation
- Managing the operational delivery of the repairs department, monitoring KPIs to ensure the service is functioning
- Overseeing budgets, ensure the service is acting in a cost-effective manner
- Managing a team of Supervisors, Surveyors, Administrators and Repairs Coordinators to provide a voids and reactive repairs service to the community and its residents
- Overseeing all maintenance and voids contractors, inspecting ongoing/completed work and making recommendations for remedial works
- Managing and driving performance of contractors to maintain both quality of service, timely delivery and value for money services
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience delivering a repairs service
- Experience ensuring KPIs are being hit by contractors
- Experience delivering on budgets, timeframes and ensuring tenant satisfaction
Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
