Overview
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association with operations across the South West, who are recruiting for a Property Surveyor on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role offering a salary of £45,266 per year.
Base pay range
This range is provided by James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will a relevant M&E qualification, a good understanding of Property Safety legislative requirements and a proven track record of project management.
Duties
- Overseeing works such as lift modernisations, CCTV, and door entry system upgrades
- Leading project planning and preparation, collaborating with Contract Managers and external consultants to capture requirements
- Supporting contractor procurement for planned projects in line with standing orders, including preparing documentation and leading tender evaluations
- Supervising contractors throughout each programme to ensure projects meet required standards for time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Performing quality control through post-inspections, preparing snagging lists, and monitoring works to completion
- Attending on-site and programme meetings with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Leading customer consultation and stakeholder engagement, including providing technical advice and liaising with the Service Charge team as needed
