Leading a team of specialist recruiters covering Property Management in the South West, Wales and the North West
Our client, based in Somerset, is currently recruiting for a Building Safety and Compliance Manager on a permanent basis.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for the role is £64,422 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with and a strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and the Fire Safety Act, experience working with the 'Big 6' in compliance, and access to their own vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Taking the lead on a Housing Association's adherence to the Building Safety Act 2022
- Developing and implementing organisation wide strategies relating to Building Safety and Fire Safety
- Overseeing a compliance function, responsible for the 'Big 6'
- Acting as the subject matter expert for Building Safety and Safety Case Reports
- Developing cyclical compliance schedules
- Tendering and mobilising compliance contracts
- Working towards a C1 RSH rating for the organisation
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with the 'Big 6'
- Exposure to building safety case reports

Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (Flexibility offered as required)
