The predicted salary is between 37000 - 39000 £ per year.
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Greater Manchester, who are recruiting for an Information Governance Officer to join the team on a temporary three-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, and offering an hourly rate of circa £19 via an Umbrella company. The role is 3 days per week in the office, and 2 days working from home.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Processing Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other information requests, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation and organisational procedures.
- Monitoring shared inboxes and privacy management systems, responding to enquiries, logging requests and coordinating work across the Information Governance team.
- Gathering and reviewing information from multiple IT systems, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the management of information security incidents.
- Coordinating paper records management, including arranging off-site storage, retrieving documents and maintaining accurate records.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion, maintaining exceptional accuracy, attention to detail and compliance with governance standards.
- Building effective working relationships, delivering excellent customer service, and managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
