Our client, a Unitary Council based in Northamptonshire, is currently recruiting for a Senior SEN Lawyer on a 3-month rolling basis. They are looking for someone to step in and autonomously deal with their own varied Local Government caseload. This role will involve acting as the lead in the team, providing guidance and support when necessary.
You will be advising upon and conducting SEND Tribunal proceedings, as well as on specifics of the law, policy, strategy and procedure. You will also be looking at Judicial Reviews.
Our client is looking to interview and hire ASAP, and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office on their first day for equipment pick up and induction. Attendance to the office then will be ad-hoc.
Experience required:
- Experience required in Local Government desirable
- Must have considerable experience of dealing with complex SEN matters
Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
