We are working with an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy firm, who are looking to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor on a permanent contract. There are opportunities in the London area, Birmingham & Oxfordshire.
Base pay range: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Duties:
- Providing concise and comprehensive fire safety advice to clients undertaking fire consultancy, bespoke works, compartmentation / intrusive surveys.
- Drawing up reports and responding to ad-hoc fire queries.
- Evaluating current fire risk assessments and gauging existing levels of risk.
- Suggesting procedures to manage risk where necessary, including in situations where risk is elevated and a temporary solution might be required.
- Maintaining regular contact with other Fire Risk Assessors and liaising with the Fire Risk Assessment Manager to deliver assessments in accordance with current legislation and fire safety standards.
Experience required:
- Commercial fire risk assessments.
- Qualified Fire Risk Assessor on the IFE Register.
- Membership of either IFSM or IFE or equivalent.
