We are currently partnering a Local Authority in Oxfordshire, in their recruitment for a Planning & Highways Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3-months. They are able to consider candidates on a remote basis, but any attendance will be advantageous. The team have capacity for full-time hours, but part-time applicants will also be considered. Handling a mixed caseload of Planning and Highways matters, including attending meetings and advising Council Officers and Members in regards to legal issues, governance and procedure 106 agreements, CIL, certificates of lawful use and advising on other planning related matters Advising on, drafting and completing highways agreements, including deeds of dedication and footpath orders Open to both part-time and full-time applicants ~
