Head of Health and Safety, Fire in Liverpool

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Liverpool, who are recruiting for a Head of Health and Safety on a 3-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, and the daily rate on offer is between £450-600 a day dependent on experience (Paid via an Umbrella Company). The ideal candidate will be an experienced Health and Safety professional with a strong understanding of Direct Labour Organisations (DLOs), capable of providing visible leadership and driving a positive safety culture across the business. Reporting to the Board and Senior Management on a wide range of Health and Safety issues during an ongoing restructure Reviewing existing risk assessments and method statements, ensuring they are fit for purpose, with a particular focus on a DLO Promoting a culture of Health and Safety across the organisation Auditing existing risk assessments and method statements as well as adherence to these Experience required in Social Housing or construction Experience managing the Health and Safety of a DLO Monday - Friday
