We are currently working in partnership with a large multi-site services organisation to appoint an Employee Relations & TUPE Specialist on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy HR team, supporting the ER Manager with complex employee relations matters and organisation-wide change projects. This position is based in Leeds, offering a salary of £35,000 - £38,000 per annum. The role is available on a full‑time basis, although part‑time hours will be considered for the right candidate. Free on‑site parking is also available.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing a wide range of complex employee relations issues, alongside significant TUPE experience, including leading transfers, consultations and stakeholder engagement.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading and supporting TUPE projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance throughout the process
  • Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with policy, employment legislation and best practice
  • Managing and supporting employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management matters
  • Supporting ACAS Early Conciliation matters and assisting with Employment Tribunal claims
  • Driving organisational change initiatives, including restructures, consultations and redundancy processes
  • Coaching and mentoring managers to enhance their people management capabilities
  • Working closely with Employment Law Partners and indemnity insurers to mitigate risk and ensure HR matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with legal requirements

Experience required:

  • Proven experience managing complex Employee Relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
  • Strong experience leading TUPE transfers, organisational change projects, consultations and redundancy processes.
  • Experience supporting ACAS Early Conciliation matters and Employment Tribunal claims.
  • A strong understanding of UK employment law, HR policies and ACAS best practice.
  • Experience building effective relationships with Trade Unions, managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment whilst managing multiple priorities.

Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm (with a one‑hour lunch break). Flexible working options available, with part‑time arrangements of 32 or 24 hours per week considered.
