The predicted salary is between 50000 - 55000 £ per year.
We are currently working in partnership with a reputable professional trade body, who are looking to appoint a strong Learning and Engagement Partner.
This will be a full-time position based in Central London, with hybrid working (3-4 days home working per week) and an hourly/day rate in line with £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Leading the delivery of the organisations learning and development strategy, translating business priorities into structured learning programmes with measurable outcomes.
- Conducting learning needs analysis, designing and delivering blended learning solutions, and supporting leadership development, career pathways and talent initiatives to strengthen workforce capability.
- Driving the adoption of learning technologies, promoting continuous learning, supporting digital upskilling initiatives, and identifying future skills requirements to enhance organisational readiness.
- Managing learning and development programmes, maintaining training records, coordinating learning activities, evaluating programme effectiveness, and producing reports to support continuous improvement.
- Overseeing apprenticeship activity, maximising funding opportunities, promoting learning initiatives across the organisation, and increasing employee engagement with development opportunities.
- Partnering with stakeholders to deliver employee engagement initiatives, coordinating staff feedback activities, supporting performance review processes, and coaching managers to enhance employee experience and organisational culture.
Experience required:
- Experience required in a public sector role with union exposure.
- Experience managing a Learning Development function.
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

- Stakeholder Relationship Management.
- Learning Needs Analysis.
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week.
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
