The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are proud to be partnering with a University in the North West of England in their search for an Information Governance Officer to join the team on a temporary contract basis for 3-months initially. This will be a full-time position, offering hybrid working (4-days home working), and a daily rate of circa £200 p/day via an Umbrella company.

The client is looking for someone with strong skills in handling redactions of sensitive information in Data Subject Access Requests.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a high volume of incoming Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and ensuring all responses are handled within statutory timeframes.
  • Conducting detailed and accurate redaction of sensitive information in line with GDPR requirements and organisational policies.
  • Handling incoming Freedom of Information requests, ensuring they are replied to within guidelines and exemptions are applied.
  • Maintaining clear, organised records of all DSAR and FOI activity to support audit, compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Providing specialist advice on information governance processes, data protection principles and best practice to colleagues where needed.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
