Overview

We are currently working in partnership with a well-established organisation based in Tamworth, who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position (37.5 hours pw) with 4 days on-site, with a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Providing advice and support on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases
  • Supporting recruitment activity, including placing adverts and assisting with interviews
  • Managing HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, leavers etc.)
  • Advising managers on restructures and redundancies, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation
  • Supporting tribunal preparation as required
  • Completing HR administration, data management, and reporting
  • Assisting with training needs analysis and maintaining the training matrix
  • Conducting exit interviews and collating feedback
  • Participating in HR projects such as policy reviews and process improvements
  • Promoting company values and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies

Qualifications and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar HR Advisor role
  • Strong background in employee relations and HR operations
  • Experience working in a busy and demanding HR environment
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable

Skills and capabilities

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organisational and administration skills with high attention to detail
