We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South London, who are looking to appoint a Housing Officer on a permanent basis.
The salary for this post is £40,000.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Housing Officer role, particularly in tenancy management and neighbourhood services.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering face-to-face tenancy management and support customers throughout their tenancy lifecycle
- Conducting property inspections, tenancy audits, and estate visits to ensure standards are met and address issues
- Managing tenancy changes and enforcement, including legal action for breaches and dealing with complex enquiries
- Supporting lettings of new builds and help develop thriving neighbourhoods
- Promote community engagement and safety, resolving nuisance behaviour and building strong local relationships
- Safeguarding vulnerable residents by identifying needs, signposting to support, and escalating concerns
- Maintaining accurate records and stay informed on relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Experience required:
- Understanding of legal processes for dealing with breaches of tenancy
- Tenancy and neighbourhood management
- Delivering a front-line service in a related field
