We are proud to be partnering with a South West based Housing Association, who are looking to appoint a Surveyor to work on the external works programmes. This will be a full‑time position based in Hampshire and Wiltshire, largely home‑based, with occasional site visits and an extremely rare requirement to attend an office. The salary for the role is circa £45,000 per annum, with mileage paid from home for site visits. The ideal candidate will have an HNC and access to their own vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the external works programme across Hampshire and surrounding areas, with occasional projects in Wiltshire
  • Conduct regular health and safety inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Lead progress meetings with contractors, monitor performance, and review KPIs
  • Manage contract administration, ensuring all obligations are met
  • Carry out post‑inspections for completed roof renewal projects to ensure quality and compliance

Experience Required

  • Experience in social housing
  • Experience working on planned maintenance projects

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • HNC/HND/Equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
