Job Description

Our client, based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Heating Delivery Manager on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The annual salary is £49,700 per annum (there is either a car allowance or company van included – it is your preference).

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading teams of engineers within social housing, as well as holding CCN1, SSCS Cert and being Gas Safe Registered. The candidate will also need to hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading a team of approximately 12 engineers to deliver repairs, maintenance, servicing and voids works
  • Providing technical guidance and leadership on repairs, maintenance, service and installation works
  • Ensuring the team meet performance targets and deliver consistently high standards
  • Leading on heating policy and procedure for the business
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and in full compliance with regulatory standards
  • Responsible for jobs up to a value of £25,000, including the co-ordination of hired plant and operators
  • Administering requirements of Gas Safe and Oftec registrations
  • Ensuring that accurate records were kept of all works conducting, including variations, unmeasured works and lost time for works

Experience & Skills required:

  • Excellent ability to lead teams of engineers/operatives
  • Outstanding knowledge of heating maintenance, services and installations
  • A background of providing outstanding customer service to social housing tenants
  • NVQ Level 3 in HVAC (or equivalent)
  • CCN1, SSCS Cert and Gas Safe Registered status
  • Level 3 Gas Audit qualification
