We are currently partnering with a professional property and construction consultancy, who are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their well-established team on a permanent basis in either their Surrey or Bournemouth office. Our client is proud to provide services to a wide and varied range of clients in both the public and private sector, across London, the South Coast and the West Country.
This is a full-time position with a salary band of £30,000 – £55,000 DOE with the start date subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee day-to-day project delivery to ensure quality and efficiency
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Producing effective and efficient cost plans, feasibilities and optioneering
- Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, and project documentation
- Managing sub-contractors and Construction Managers
Experience required:
- Degree educated & ideally with relevant professional qualification (MRICS) or on the path to achieving this
- Experience within a variety of sectors
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary organisation
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Excellent people skills and communicator, both with client teams and team based
- The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- A full clean driving licence and own vehicle
Working hours:
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
