We are currently working in partnership with a local council based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint a Tenancy Services Manager on a 3-month temporary to permanent basis. This will be a full-time position with a negotiable day rate. The salary will be £50k-£52k.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a group of Housing Officers and an in-depth understanding of relevant legislation. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team of four Housing Officers
  • Overseeing estate services and ensuring compliance with SLAs, tenancy conditions, rent arrears processes, and ASB policies, progressing cases to legal action when required
  • Conducting regular quality assurance checks, monitoring team and individual performances, and taking timely action to address issues
  • Promoting tenancy sustainability by signposting residents to support services, building strong partnerships, engaging with communities, and encouraging resident involvement

Experience required:

  • Experience managing Housing Officers
  • Experience in tenancy management, rents and ASB

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage and encourage the team to the highest standards

Working hours: 37.5 a week, Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
