We are currently partnered with a well-known Housing provider in the Gloucestershire on the recruitment of a 9-months Fixed Term Contract as an Income Services Manager.
The position is due to start over the coming weeks on a full-time basis, 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday 09:00AM-17:00PM with as little as 1 day per week in the office required.
You would take on the Income Recovery, Money Advice, Rent Accounting, and Training & Employment services, and oversee End-of-Year rent setting.
The role pays Β£48,738 β 54,229 per annum (FTE) plus employee benefits , although temporary (hourly) rates may be considered for the right candidate.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Lead and manage the Income Services function, overseeing Income Recovery, Money Advice, Rent Accounting, and Training & Employment services to ensure high-quality, customer-focused and effective service delivery
- Provide strong line management and leadership to five Team Leaders, including regular 1-to-1s, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development, ensuring clear objectives and accountability across the service
- Drive service improvement and development, identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance, customer outcomes and value for money, while ensuring services remain responsive to changing organisational and customer needs
- Lead the annual rent-setting and year-end process, ensuring rent and service charge information is accurate, compliant and delivered within agreed timescales, working closely with Finance, Housing and other key stakeholders
- Monitor and manage service performance, using data, performance indicators and customer insight to identify trends, address underperformance, manage risk and ensure the Income Services teams consistently meet agreed targets and standards
- Build effective partnerships across the organisation and with external stakeholders, supporting strategic initiatives and ensuring Income Services contributes to wider organisational priorities, financial sustainability, tenancy sustainment and positive customer outcomes
