Job Description
We are proud to be partnering a leading provider in building fire safety compliance and technical services to organisations across the UK, who are looking to appoint a Fire Door Surveyor on a five-week contract.
This will be a position predominantly based in London and occasionally in Surrey with the rate being £10 per flat door, £4 per communal door & £4 per no access. The expectation being to complete circa 50 per day.
The ideal candidate will have a FDIS (Fire Door Inspection Scheme) accreditation & multiple years’ experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting Fire Door Surveys within social housing & properties to ensure compliance with fire safety standards
- Inspecting fire doors to assess the conditions of the doors & identify potential risks
- Noting potential issues for repairs & maintenance to ensure fire doors are constructed properly
- Maintaining accurate survey records and findings
Experience required:
- Over two years’ experience within fire surveying
- Ideally hold a FDIS accreditation
