The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

We are proud to be partnering with a Local Authority based in the Midlands who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Analyst on an eight-month temporary contract.

This will be a full-time position based in the Midlands, with hybrid working (3 days home working) and a daily rate of c. £600 outside IR35 .

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in Council finance and will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with efficient data and accounting data management across multiple income data streams.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting with the integration of the Civica Income Management Solution with Oracle Fusion ERP
  • Developing process maps, context diagrams, data and information flow
  • Capturing detailed requirements and specifications for blueprinting, solution design, and configuration book
  • Implementing and performing functional testing for business units using the income management solution and financial accounting system
  • Developing knowledge on income management processes, their impact on the income management system modules and business change required to support accrual accounting

Experience required:

  • Experience as a business analyst or systems accountant, with experience in ERP systems and data integration projects or implementing an income management system
  • Strong background working within Local Authority finance

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Chartered ICAEW/Certified ACCA/CIPFA/CIMA

Working hours:

  • 5 days per week – 3 days working from home
