We are currently looking for a strong HR Business Partner/Senior HR Advisor who is available for an immediate start 3 month contract position in Exeter. This is a full‑time role, offering a hybrid working arrangement (3 days per week working from home) and paying around £28-32 per hour.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting and coaching managers to resolve people issues and manage complex employee relations cases
- Leading on proactive employee relations initiatives to strengthen workplace culture and reduce conflict
- Partnering with business leaders to understand strategic goals, performance needs and barriers
- Leading workforce planning, recruitment and succession strategies for a designated area of the organisation
- Delivering employee engagement projects to strengthen culture and staff experience
Experience required:
- Broad experience across a full HR remit, including advising managers and managing complex ER casework
- Strong capability in developing HR policies, interpreting employment legislation and producing clear written and verbal reports
- Proven experience supporting organisational change, providing innovative HR solutions and partnering effectively with stakeholders
- Previous experience working within a unionised environment
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Flexi working offered.
