We are partnering with a major, market‑leading retail group to recruit an ER Advisor to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. Operating across multiple brands and channels, the organisation continues to grow rapidly through ongoing investment, acquisition and large‑scale transformation. This is a full‑time role offering a salary of up to £34,000, depending on experience. The start date will align with your notice period.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting the HR Business Partner team by providing support on a range of employee relations issues
- Providing guidance and advice to employees in regard to company policies and procedures and employment legislation
- Supporting, coaching and upskilling Managers to fulfil their people management responsibilities with regard to employee relations casework
- Providing operational support and advice on employee relations matters; such as disciplinary, grievance, appeals
- Supporting with redundancy consultation processes and TUPE when necessary
- Proactively dealing with absence management; assisting with the identification and resolution of problematic cases and long-term sickness issues, monitoring KPIs and trends to propose preventive measures
- Supporting departments/teams through organisational change and embedding new structures and processes where required
Experience required:
- Proven HR and business partnering experience within fast‑paced, multi‑site and complex organisations
- Strong track record of partnering with a range of Head Office functions to deliver people solutions
- Experience operating within high‑performing, customer‑centric environments, ideally within retail or service‑led sectors
- Broad expertise across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, retention, organisational design and engagement
- Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated capability in shaping, leading and delivering people initiatives and change projects
- Confident in interpreting data and insights to inform decisions and drive positive organisational outcomes
- Resilient, assertive and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and navigate setbacks constructively
