We're currently working with a Housing Association based in Merseyside who are currently recruiting for a Data Protection Coordinator on a 3-6 month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, but they can also consider part-time options. The hourly rate is £18 - £24 p/hour via an Umbrella company, but there is potential room for negotiation dependent on candidate expectations and experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling subject access requests and previously have worked within social housing.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing Data Subject Rights requests from obtaining the data, redactions, sending securely and updating internal systems
- Conducting data searches across the business and confidently coordinating responses to inquiries
- Monitoring and triaging data protection queries via email and telephone
- Triaging incident issues, following organisational and cross cutting departmental processes and maintaining accurate records
- Creating and maintaining meticulous records of data protection incidents and rights requests and support with RoPA maintenance
- Supporting with administrative tasks, including individual right requests, data protection enquiries, data breach management and administrative support to the data protection team
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience handling subject access requests
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm. Part-time options will be considered.
