Job Description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the South Manchester region, who are recruiting for a Compliance Officer on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with a hybrid working pattern on offer. The salary on offer for the role is £37,790.90 per annum.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have experience within property compliance and have a keen eye for detail.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing cyclical inspection programmes, maintaining records related to completed and outstanding works
  • Monitoring and ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance for a social housing providers stock, focused on the ‘Big 6’
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date registers and asset records, ensuring key dates are highlighted to inform works
  • Monitoring data reports to identify when key works are due
  • Arranging and overseeing surveys and inspections
  • Ensuring contractors are meeting pre-agreed SLAs
  • Supporting the HS Manager and Compliance manager with non-compliance issues as required

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience working with customers within housing
  • Experience working within social housing compliance
  • Experience uploading documents, and updating records

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
