Job Description

Our client, based in Luton, is currently recruiting for a Complex Needs Support Worker on an initial one-month temporary contract, with the potential for it to be extended.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, and the hourly rate is £17.00 on an umbrella basis,

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering person-centred support to individuals experiencing complex needs, including mental health issues, substance misuse, and trauma
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing personalised support and risk management plans
  • Collaborating with external agencies such as mental health services, social care teams, housing providers, and other relevant organisations
  • Supporting clients in maintaining tenancies and navigating housing systems
  • Promoting independence by assisting clients in developing daily living skills and engaging in meaningful, recovery-focused activities
  • Monitoring living environments to ensure safety and compliance with health, safety, and legal standards

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Enhanced DBS certificate (issued within the past 3 years and registered online)
  • Access to a vehicle for work purposes
  • Previous experience working in a care or supported housing background
  • Hands on experience delivering housing-related support services
  • Confident working with vulnerable individuals in a fast-paced environment

Working hours:

  • Full time (40 hours a week) – in office
  • Monday – Friday
  • Shifts: 7.00am – 3.00pm, 2.00pm – 10.00pm, 9.30am – 7.30pm
