We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Project Lead (Fire Planned Investment) on a four-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The daily rate on offer is £300 via an Umbrella Company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, taking schemes from inception through to completion and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction, quality, health and safety, and programme delivery. Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing the delivery of fire remedial and capital investment projects across the housing portfolio
- Overseeing projects from design and procurement through to completion and handover
- Managing contractor performance, quality, programme delivery and customer outcomes
- Providing technical advice and support on building and construction matters
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and safe systems of work
- Monitoring project costs, timescales and performance to ensure successful delivery
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants and partner organisations
- Carrying out site inspections and quality assurance checks
- Supporting the wider Investment Team in delivering a safe and compliant housing stock
Previous Experience required:
- Experience delivering capital works projects within social housing and similar property environments
- Experience managing fire safety and compliance projects, ensuring works were completed in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Experience overseeing planned maintenance programmes to maintain and improve housing stock
- Experience monitoring project performance, quality standards and compliance throughout the delivery process
- Experience developing strong knowledge of property maintenance, asset management and building safety requirements
Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm. Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
